DENTAL COATING MATERIALS (SUNTA, MDF, WOOD)
Chipboard or chipboard, also known as chipboard, has recently gained popularity in the construction industry due to its versatility and cheap price. It is widely used in the production of all kinds of furniture, panels and partition structures. They can be used instead of plywood to reduce costs. Today, the comfort and elegance of any place can be enhanced with laminated sunboard sheet or coated sunboard sheet.
Chipboard is a plate made of waste products such as tree chips, sawdust and wood shavings. It is also called a low density fiber plate (LDF).
The biggest advantage of choosing the sunboard plate is that it is an economical option in terms of cost against plywood or medium density fiber sheets. Laminated chipboards and coated chipboards provide a decorative appearance at a low price according to the counterpl. Decorative laminate or wood finish provides a flat surface for bonding. Thus, laminated chipboards and coated chipboards are widely used in the production of office furniture. Another advantage is that it can be easily transported due to its light weight.
The sunboard sheet has more screw holding capacity compared to MDF, so it is preferred in the construction of furniture that can be mounted using screws. It also requires minimal maintenance and is easy to clean. Another plus of the sunk is thermo-acoustic insulation, so it can be used as speaker construction and ceiling covering. Chipboard plates are an environmentally friendly material because they are used in the production of all-natural materials and residues such as sawdust, wood parts and sugar cane.
The sunboard plate has a low destend compared to other fiber sheets, so it can be easily damaged during shipping. Other than that, when exposed to dea, it expands and bends. In addition, discoloration may occur in some cases.
Due to its low durability and damage in the case of density, the sunboard offers less service life compared to medium density fiber plate and plywood. In addition, it cannot support heavy loads because it is powerless.
Mdf (medium density fiber sheet): It is a wooden product made of thin wood chips. Fiber sheets of the same thickness are milled into small chips, then mixed with glues that can adhere immediately after being put into high pressure steam. Finally, mdf is obtained after pressing under pressure.
Mdf coating: Mdf coating is a type of MDF that can be coated with two medots in the form of wood and melamine. Especially the wood-plated MDF is more expensive in price than raw mdf.
Mdf lam: Mdf lam is melamine coated raw mdf and has all the advantages and disadvantages of mdf. The only different wood-plated mdf is more economical. But it is more expensive than raw mdf.
Although the medium density fiber plate is more robust than the sunboard, it remains weak compared to the actual wood material. This means that when exposed to conditions where wood is imsused, the MDF cracks and is damaged in a much shorter time. Because mdf does not have a structure as dense as wood. For this reason, for example, in the installation of mdf furniture mounted with nails, you need to use many more nails than wood. If you do not place the nail at close intervals, you will have to deal with problems such as dismantling and breaking in the long term.
First, there are floor restrictions covering the amount of chemicals used in the construction of MDF
, especially formaldehyde. Secondly, de gas purification of formaldehyde occurs mainly during the construction of the material. When furniture reaches your home
, especially when painted, de-gasification often stop. As a result, if you buy furniture made with MDF from trusted locations, it is not a problem for your health. Although chemicals are used in the construction, MDF furniture is produced from waste wood parts and sawdust, so it is environmentally friendly.
